A junior volunteer firefighter is a young community member, ages 14–17, who trains alongside experienced firefighters to learn the fundamentals of emergency response, teamwork, and public service. Juniors do not enter burning buildings or hazardous environments, but they play an important supporting role while gaining skills that prepare them for becoming a firefighter at age 18.
Junior Firefighter

A volunteer firefighter (ages 18 & up) serves the community by responding to emergencies and helping neighbors in times of need. Volunteers train regularly to develop skills in fire suppression, rescue operations, and community outreach. The role is open to motivated individuals who want to make a meaningful impact, work as part of a dedicated team, and contribute to keeping their community safe.

A fire company Auxiliary member helps support the department by strengthening its operations by community presence and fundraisers, making this a vital part of the department’s overall mission.
